International
My last critic about TNA wasn't good (except for Emily) but now I have recognised that there is something special about TNA.
While TA just solve cases in good old Britain, TNA have to travel around the world - and they still have their british charme. While Purdey and Gambit have a modern character, Steed is still a british gentleman. So something traditional is meeting something new...

I think you've hit the nail on the head. TNA was never meant to be a straight retread of the original Avengers--that's why the "new" was in the title, after all. Gambit was never there to replace Steed, but to complement him. The three of them were meant to be the best of both worlds, and perhaps rub off on one another a little bit.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you taking the time to give TNA another look. I know I'm biased, but I think there's a lot to enjoy there, if only people look.
Can I ask, in a related note, where you found the middle picture in your TNA banner for the episode guide at the bottom of the page? I've never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteI was just searching some pictures at google.at
ReplyDeletebut if you want I could send you the picture or publish it at my blog
I've saved the banner, but if you have a better quality picture you could post, I won't say no. ;-)
