Who would fit the bill?

I was not sure if I should make a new poll, but I think it's better to post this question, so you can explain you answer and we can discuss about it.

Which girl would Steed take, if he has the choice?

    Well, Emma, naturally--they were clearly the most compatible. Steed sort of keeps Purdey at arm's length even when she's forward, as though he's more interested in a friendship. Cathy and Steed didn't really even get along very well--a relationship would never work between them; their partnership was conflict-habituated as it was. Steed was fond of Tara, but she was so much younger and they were on different pages. But Emma he meshed with perfectly, effortlessly. They'd be quite content to while away the years, I think.

    Yes I think you are right. Emma and Steed are on the same level - intelectual and also emotional. They have fun together and they understand each without any problems. Purdey, of course is just a good friends for Steed, but I'm not sure what he thinks about Cathy and Tara. In my opinion it would be a difficult decession for him. Hmm...every girl is very different...but well...he would choose Emma.

    I say Emma, because they get along perfectly and have great chemestry better than anything partner Steed ever worked with. Plus Steed has changed a bit after Emma as come along into his life and when she left. You so can tell what he feels for her when he looks at her when they're together and when she left. You can tell he didn't want her to leave. That says it all for him on who he would choose. Even if Peter Peel never came back we can still tell who he would choose. It always has been Emma and always will be for Steed.
